Swisscontact
Swisscontact is a politically and denominationally neutral organization founded in 1959 by personalities from the Swiss private business and university sectors. About three hundred staff members are working for Swisscontact in project countries as well as in Switzerland. The foundation is tax-exempted and recognized by ZEWO (central office for non-profit organizations).

- Promoting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and improving their basic conditions
- Financial services: Improving the possibilities for SMEs to save and receive loans by offering micro-credit schemes and financing facilities
- Environmental protection: Reducing the environmental burden in towns and cities In all areas, particular emphasis is placed on promoting the private-sector economy
Swisscontact Albania
In Albania Swisscontact is registered since 1992 as a branch of the Swiss Foundation and it implement projects primarly, but not excusively, on behalf of SDC - Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. Currently the major activity of is the implmentation of the AlbVET Program which is fully financed by SDC. More information about projects implemented earlier you can find here.
