Partnership for Learning – Hairdressing progress in Fier and Saranda

AlbVET counts and believes in PAFL. Same is for international experts Nadine Brunner and David von Graffenried, who are assisting the project implementation on the hairdressing sub-component on PAFL.

With the AlbVET staff, the two experts organised and delivered a training workshop at the new Training Centre in Saranda.

Main focus of the workshop was to develop with instructors and teachers the planning, organization and implementation of lessons for the 1st level; to train them on the implementation of modern didactic techniques and methods in teaching and learning process as well as  to develop and implement testing instruments and specific assessment systems.
Additional work was done to finalize the development of the first training module package, including learning resources and guidelines for workshop practice.

Progress is done as regards the process of equipment procurement both in Fier and Saranda, the two towns where training in hairdressing is supported by AlbVET.

The development of the first training module package is finalized and is being documented by the project. Both international experts are working on the last reviews and amendments for both theory and practice hours.

Next mission of the experts is expected to take place next Autumn aiming to observe the possible shortcomings and contribute to consolidate the achievements so far.

By then, first trainees might also attend the two training centres supported by AlbVET in Fier and Saranda.
